Moët & Chandon’s limited-edition golden jeroboams are hand-gilt by Arthus-Bertrand, one of France’s oldest and most prestigious engravers and jewelers. Befitting the holiday spirit, part of the proceeds from the Moët & Chandon Imperial golden jeroboams will be donated to FilmAid International, a non-profit NGO dedicated to using film to help millions of people who have suffered the effects of war, poverty, displacement or disaster.

Following the success of the previous MUMM EXPLORER EXPERIENCES, G.H. MUMM launched on 7 June Mumm the game an online photography competition, giving a unique opportunity for consumers to be part of its next exceptional expedition in September. Closing the entries after a successful high level of responses, G.H. MUMM announced yesterday on Facebook the two lucky winners – Ujin Lee from Australia and Angie Hogget from the UK won the ultimate prize.

Following a first selection made by online voters, the reunited jury discussed the submitted votes, ensuring they were fulfilling the photography competition requirements around key criteria such as the exceptional setting, quality and creativity of the photography. Both Ujin Lee and Angie Hogget’s submissions stood out, winning the unique prize.

The two lucky winners will attend the next MUMM Explorer Experience that will take place in the Gobi desert from 8 to 11 September 2010 with the unique presence of Mike Horn and Michelin-star French Chef Alain Passard. Following the announcement, consumer Ujin Lee from Australia said: “What wonderful news! It is a wonderful privilege and honor to have been chosen to attend the next Mumm expedition – a once in a lifetime experience!”

Turned into a unique showcase of the Belle Époque Cuvée, the House holds almost 200 original pieces from the Art Nouveau movement, whose leader included artist and Art Nouveau pioneer Émile Galle, who designed in 1902 the anemones that adorn every one of Perrier-Jouet Cuvées today. This sense of beauty explains why the respective worlds of Perrier-Jouët and Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance converge so closely: they both share the same sensitivity for organic shapes, and close approach to Nature.

Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance says: “With the Flower Table, I was able to design a piece which reflects both my personality and Perrier-Jouët. A freedom object, like Art Nouveau”.

To accompany the French Designer’s work and fully appreciate the tasting experience, Perrier-Jouët invited 3-star Michelin French Chef Anne-Sophie Pic, to come up with some culinary delicacies to sample around the Flower Table. Anne-Sophie Pic created a series of beautiful “Amuse-Bouches”, a real concentrate of sensorial emotions, in perfect harmony with Perrier-Jouët Cuvées.

Charles Heidsieck has always been acclaimed by professional tasters, those recognised as being the first amongst “those who know”. The quantity of medals and trophies regularly earned by Charles Heidsieck is simply extraordinary. The winemaking team has been awarded the “Winemaker of the Year” trophy nine times by the UK International Wine Challenge (1994, 1998-2002, 2004, 2007, 2009).

From the very beginning, Charles Heidsieck gained the respect of professionals and amateurs.

Founded in 1851, the House and its wines earned their first medals during the Universal Exhibition of 1859. The Emperor Napoleon III himself was prone to drinking the Maison’s champagne, showing a preference for the “high style very dry” which had traditionally been made for the British market.

The House of G.H. Mumm has called upon one of the world’s most acclaimed designers to create a range of service accessories aimed at enhancing the appeal of its products. Patrick Jouin is unveiling his first creation, a champagne ice-bucket dubbed “Georges” in tribute to the House’s founder, Georges Hermann Mumm.

An interior architect, designer and creator, Patrick Jouin, whose experience in the world of luxury (Van Cleef&Arpels boutique) and the world of cuisine (restaurant Jules Verne) is recognised internationally, enjoys exploring techniques and materials . Patrick Jouin studied design in Paris and soon joined the Philippe Starck agency.
